Price tags - which one is right?

If an item is marked at a particular price and the seller tells you that it's a mistake and the real price is higher, then they may be committing an offence by displaying misleading advertising.

Similarly, it's an offence to sell an item with two price tags attached and sell it for the higher price. However, in these situations the seller can refuse to sell the item at the lower price and withdraw it from sale altogether.
